Journaling and reflection

A few lines after a few quiet minutes can help you notice patterns, remember what helps and see your practice grow.

How to begin

A simple way to start a meditation journal

  1. Keep it close. Any notebook works. Leave it where you practice.
  2. Write little. One to three lines is enough. Consistency matters more than length.
  3. Use one prompt. Choose a prompt before or after practice and answer it honestly.

There is no right way to journal. If writing feels like a chore, try a single word each day.
